What Patients Need to Know

You are paired with a financial counselor right from the very beginning to help you better understand your financial responsibilities regarding your care. Services provided include: pre-authorizations, assistance with insurance coverage, billing and benefit information. We also address any financial concerns and offer assistance with payment arrangements and other resources as needed.

Insurance and Payment Options

Dignity Health – Cancer Institute at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center participates with a wide variety of insurance plans. Most plans require pre-authorization prior to services being rendered. To be sure your services will be covered by your insurance plan, we encourage you to contact your insurance provider directly. We also pre-authorize your insurance prior to your initial appointment to verify coverage. If you are interested in becoming a patient, please call 602.406.8222.
