Shyamal Patel, MD

Dr. Patel is a radiation oncologist at Dignity Health Cancer Institute. He is board-certified in radiation oncology and has clinical expertise in brachytherapy. Dr. Patel’s expertise includes the management of genitourinary, and skin cancers. His extensive training in high-dose-rate brachytherapy provides him with a highly effective way to treat prostate cancers as well as gynecologic cancers. Overall, Dr. Patel strongly believes in providing his patients with all potential options and tailoring his treatment recommendations to the patient within a context of evidence – based medicine. His extensive training provides him with unique and highly effective treatment modalities.
