Patients & Caregivers
We know there are many emotions to cope with and decisions to make when you or a loved one receives a cancer diagnosis. As a multidisciplinary cancer institute headquartered in Arizona, we understand cancer exceptionally well, and know the earlier you start treatment the better. Talk to our oncology experts. We can help you build your support team, get the proper diagnosis, access innovative treatment options without long wait times for appointments, and uncomplicate the insurance process.
There are many types of treatment options in the fight against cancer. They vary from surgery, to infusion therapy, such as chemotherapy or immunotherapy, and even radiation. We want to be your resource during whatever treatment option you choose. At Dignity Health – Cancer Institute at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center, we take cancer personal and our team is passionate about supporting you and your family through every phase of your treatment process.
Life After Treatment
Many of our patients tell us the hardest part of post-treatment is not seeing their cancer care team. We know getting back to normal or the “new normal” can be scary and stressful. Many questions may circle in your mind about what if’s or if the cancer will come back. Being in community with other survivors will help. Join one of our support groups and explore resources to help you prepare for the transition to healing.
In a world where meaningful connections can feel less valued and lives can seem more isolated, we are working together to unleash the healing power of humanity.
Cancer is the enemy. It strikes like a bolt of lightning and changes a person’s life forever. Well, we fight back! At Dignity Health – Cancer Institute at St. Joseph’s, we stand firm in our commitment to provide state-of-the art cancer treatment, services for survivors, clinical trial opportunities, and at all times, a compassionate experience. Our patients tell our story best – they are the true heroes.
