At the Dignity Health – Cancer Institute at St. Joseph’s, we have an onsite Cardio-oncologists who specializes in cardiology for oncology patients. In the cardio-oncology clinic, specialized laboratory testing and sophisticated strain echocardiographic imaging helps identify or predict heart disease before the damage occurs. Our cardio-oncologist can assess patients for potential risk of developing heart conditions when taking certain types of cancer treatment medications.
